Philco 42-KR3 "Kitchen Radio" (1942)
Interesting radio from 1942, whose base is contoured to sit on the rounded top of a contempor-
aneous refrigerator. Since Philco was also manufacturing refrigerators by this time, it probably
was an especially good match for their models! This is one of two similar models produced (the
other was 42-KR5, which had a built in clock).
