The Philco 39-17 is a small ac-powered 5-tube table radio from 1939. Interesting styling with top mount-
ed push-buttons and two side-mounted knobs. It covers the standard broadcast band from 540 - 1720kc.
The tubes used are 6A7 (mixer/LO), 78 (IF), 75 (2nd detector/AVC/1st AF), 41 (af power), 84 (rectifier).
